International News
The first phase of the Healthy Families Project in Kiribati ended recently with the last of seven workshops being held.
The Healthy Families Project has been running since 2012 and has focused on improving the sexual and reproductive health and rights of I-Kiribati living in the capital, South Tarawa.
Our International Programmes team recently travelled to Tarawa to run a workshop for Kiribati Family Health Association (KFHA), the organisation we’re partnering with to deliver theproject. This workshop covered monitoring and evaluation of their ongoing work.
KFHA staff and youth volunteers attended the workshop and learnt about topics ranging from ethics in research to the nuts and bolts of planning a project. Staff involved in evaluation activities also attended extra sessions on using online surveys.
