International News
Family Planning International wrote an article in the latest volume of Victoria University's Policy Quarterly journal.
Since the mid-1990s, access to comprehensive family planning services has been widely recognised as a basic human right. Despite this, family planning has been and remains one of the most under-resourced and politically sensitive development issues of our time.
The article looks at the re-prioritisation of family planning on the international development agenda and argues why New Zealand should consider increasing it's support for family planning programmes in the Pacific.
