TRAFFIC LIGHTS SYSTEM - updated 25 January 2022

We are offering all services either by telephone consult or in person. Booked appointments only in Traffic Light Red - no walk-in or drop-in appointments.

The service may be slightly different than you are used to.

  • Our staff will help you make the right appointment.
  • If you are having a face-to-face appointment, you will be COVID-screened before your appointment and when you arrive at the clinic.
  • You will need to wear a mask when coming to the clinic and a medical mask during your appointment. We’ll give you a medical mask to wear.
  • If you require a support person with you, please let us know at the time of booking your appointment. Support people will be required to show their My Vaccine Pass either digitally or as a hardcopy at the time of your appointment.

How to make an appointment

Te whakarite hui

You can make an appointment by phone or by using our Ask for an Appointment form (available after 6pm weekdays and during the weekend).


Between 8am and 6pm on weekdays, you can make an appointment by calling the clinic. Use the Clinic Finder, below, to find the clinic nearest you.

After hours, you can request an appointment by filling in the Ask for an Appointment form. This form is available after 6pm weekdays and during the weekend. Fill out your details and we will call you back and book your appointment.

All our staff are well-trained and professional

Our call-takers are Family Planning staff. They are well trained in sexual and reproductive health, and respect your right to access a confidential service.

All our clinics are very friendly and welcoming. Our staff are trained to be professional and won't judge you. They’ll make you feel relaxed and comfortable when you call to make an appointment or visit a clinic.

how to Cancel your appointment

If you are unable to make your appointment, please let us know by filling in the Cancel my Appointment form. You can request a call so that we can book you another appointment.
