National News

Clinic costs at our clinics are changing but for NZ Residents under 22 and clients with a Community Services Card costs will remain the same.

For some clients a visit will cost $4 more.

A summary of the changes is listed below:

  • For New Zealand Residents under 22, there is no cost for a visit. This is unchanged.
  • For those with a Community Services Card, the cost of a visit is unchanged at $5.
  • For all other New Zealand Residents (and those eligible for subsidised health care) a clinic visit will cost $27, up from $23 previously.
  • The $4 increase will also apply to appointments for non-New Zealand Residents.

These changes are effective from 1 July 2014.
